How to reach everyone with safe water and sanitation by 2030

With everyone, everywhere able to access clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene, we can end extreme poverty and create a sustainable future. But we have to act now to make this reality.

Together, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) form an essential platform for progress in health, education, nutrition, work, economic development and more, without which the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development will fail.

As the UN begins the first review of Sustainable Development Goal 6, we call on governments and donors to fight WASH inequality with urgent action on finance, integration and sustainability.

Boosting each of these will make a difference; tackling all three will change everything.
