The strategy shows the focus of efforts to create an enabling environment for accelerating progress on national-level WASH across the South Asian countries where WaterAid has programmes, Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan, and also contribute to extending our influence to the other four countries in the region, as well as Asia Pacific region.

Over the next four years, South Asia Region will focus its collective effort on the four critical areas that are impeding progress to universal WASH access in the Region: 1) urban sanitation 2) hygiene integrated with health and education 3) climate change and resilient WASH and 4) sector governance.
