This document outlines WaterAid’s organisational policy on health and safety within WaterAid-funded construction projects. Aimed at WaterAid programmes and partners, it is intended to guide WaterAid country programmes as they create and update their own health and safety policies, tailored to the risks and legal requirements in their country.

This policy is regularly updated to ensure it remains current and relevant to on-site construction activities carried out by partners and country staff. The latest update was made in February 2019.
