Sub-national WASH sector sustainability analysis tool (Kampong Chhnang, Cambodia)
This tool, adapted to the context of Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia, is used to assess the strength of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) system building blocks. It is used in participatory workshop settings to reach consensus among stakeholders about the strength of each block. The results of the analysis, along with results from other participatory exercises, are used to inform the design of a WASH system strengthening intervention.
The tool can be adapted and contextualised to different national and sub-national contexts. It can also be re-used to monitor changes in the strength of the building blocks over time.
